We are talking immediately about the line of secure cryptoprocessors for the Internet of things segment. As stated in the press release, separate chips for encrypting information will secure data and protect devices from unauthorized entry.

The crypto processor converts the data in such a way that it can only be decrypted on the original computer, running the same software that was originally used. This ensures the maximum level of security and the impossibility of unauthorized access to information from the outside. The presence of a cryptoprocessor eliminates the need for additional use of physical means of protecting the system.

Cryptographic protection of information is a necessity when implementing IoT systems in various industries. It blocks attackers from accessing IoT networks, protects critical data from interception, and eliminates unauthorized impact on technological processes.

Cryptoprocessors are used in the production of intelligent sensors for the oil, mining and other industries. Also, products can be used in engine control sensors for cars or aircraft, to create critical infrastructure equipment.

As part of the project, MTUCI specialists develop specialized software and provide integration of cryptographic algorithms. Avtomatika Concern certifies the family of cryptoprocessors, conducts case studies, promotes and sells products, Kaskad LLC develops cryptoprocessor topologies, tests products and performs final configuration.

So far, there are no details about the processors, just as there are no approximate dates for their appearance on the market. But Rostec says it will happen as soon as possible.
