One person died after collision between two trailers on BR-020, at the time of the city of São Desidério, in western Bahia. According to information from the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the accident was around 8:30 am on Monday (3).
The two vehicles were crossed on the track, which caused a traffic jam in both directions of the road. The last information passed by the PRF was to congestion around 8 km towards Luís Eduardo Magalhães and 3 km towards Brasilia.
It rained at the time of the accident and Track was wet when the driver of one carries lost control of the vehicle reaching a tank trailer, which was heading in the opposite direction.
The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called, as did the Fire Department and the Military Police. Even with the confirmation of death, there are no details about the victim. The causes of the accident are investigated.
