US spy chief Avril Haynes will be in South Korea to meet with President Yun Suk-yeol tomorrow amid rising tensions on the Korean peninsula and a recent pact between Moscow and Pyongyang promising closer military ties, reports say today’s South Korean newspaper article. Haynes will meet with Yun and discuss deepening Russia-North Korea relations and Pyongyang’s provocative moves, the Joongang Ilbo newspaper reported, citing an unnamed national security official.
