South Korea: Another 30 million doses of Pfizer vaccine – 2,344 cases in 24 hours

Loads with an additional 30 million doses of Pfizer vaccine for 2022 h South Korea as announced by the Korean Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA).

Since the start of the mass immunization campaign in the Southeast Asian country on February 26, at least 41.39 million people (80.6% of the population) have received the vaccine. The 39.09 million (the 76,1%) have been fully vaccinated, according to KDCA data.

In the previous 24 hours, 2,344 were confirmed cases of SARS-CoV-2 and another 20 patients with COVID-19 succumbed, reports APE-MPE, citing Reuters and Xinhua.

South Korea: 2,936 dead

The pandemic of the new coronavirus has reached this stage with 2,936 deaths out of a total of 375,464 infections in the Asian country. The mortality rate remains unchanged at 0.78%.

Cases have decreased compared to the previous one (2,667), however they remain above the level of 1,000 since July 7. In hospitals 382 patients with COVID-19 are treated in a severe to critical condition (+17 in 24 hours).
