Kiev’s cooperation in the treatment of North Korean prisoners of war was requested by South Korean Foreign Minister TsSo Tae-Juli during a telephone conversation with Ukrainian counterpart Andriy Sibicha, according to Seoul Foreign Ministry. “North Korea has developed thousands of soldiers to support the Russian forces fighting in Ukraine,” according to Ukrainian, US and South Korean estimates, Pyongyang’s first major involvement in war since the 1950s.
