Han Dong Hoon, former leader of the South Korean popular power party, announced his presidential candidacy on Thursday (10).
South Korea will hold presidential elections on June 3, following the impeachment of former President Yoon Suk Yeol, resulting from a statement of martial law in December, being confirmed on April 4.
Han is considered one of the main conservative candidates. He was opposed to Yoon’s martial statement.
The 52 -year -old promoter, who became a politician, resigned from the PPP leadership, the Government Party, amid the party’s friction due to its appeal to Yoon’s resignation due to the statement of martial law.
