South Korea launches new loudspeaker propaganda campaign to North Korea

The campaign of broadcasting propaganda messages from loudspeakers to North Korea is expected to start again today, Sunday 6/9, South Korea, as announced by the country’s National Security Council, after Pyongyang’s move to send again balloons with waste and impurities on the other side of the border. The Council met this morning after dozens of debris balloons were spotted in Seoul and areas near the border earlier and overnight. “The measures we take will be intolerable to the North Korean regime but will send a message of hope and light to the troops and people of North Korea,” the Council said. South Korea has warned it will take tough measures against North Korea in response to sending up balloons of garbage and dirt, which may include broadcasting propaganda messages from huge loudspeakers on the border.
