South Korea: Over 7,000 cases of coronavirus for the 3rd consecutive day

South Korean health authorities announced today that 7,022 cases of SARS-CoV-2 were confirmed in the 24 hours to midnight yesterday, Thursday, with a total of more than half a million, while another 53 patients succumbed to 19 COID complications. .

Cases of the new OMicron variant of SARS-CoV-2 have reached 63 (+3 in 24 hours), of which 48 are attributed to community transmission.
