Southern Brazil starts the week with forecast of cold and rain

The southern region of Brazil is expected to be cold and rainy with the arrival of the new cold front, this Monday (16).

The coldest air mass is the first in September with a large amplitude and temporarily breaks the intense heat wave felt the previous week across the country.

According to MetSul, the places that should have the most rainfall are in the North of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and the state of ParanĂ¡, with high accumulations in some cities in these areas.

The institution reiterates that, despite the forecast for the southern states receiving rain, much of the country should have little or no rain this week.
