Saturday (20) should start off still very cold in the southern region of Brazil, with the possibility of fog forming during the first hours of the day on the coast of Paraná and in Curitiba.
The weather will be open, with sun and almost no cloudiness, from the interior of Paraná to the northwest of Rio Grande do Sul. The day should not feature rain, and air humidity should decrease during the afternoons in Curitiba, Florianópolis and Porto Alegre.
The mountains of Santa Catarina continue to present the possibility of frost. The mass of cold air of polar origin, which has been causing this cold wave in the South, begins to move away from the country towards the ocean this Saturday afternoon.
According to the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet), Curitiba will record a minimum of 11°C, while Florianópolis and Porto Alegre, 17°C and 15°C, respectively.

In Goiânia, Distrito Federal and Cuiabá, there is a forecast of sun with quick showers of rain. There may be thunderstorms in some cities further north in Mato Grosso.
The southern coast of Bahia, in the northeast, will see an increase in air humidity in part of the region due to the cold front moving to the high seas. The day is marked by sun between clouds with the possibility of rain at any time, including in Salvador.
Recife, Maceió, João Pessoa will have muggy weather, with regular showers. There is a storm warning for Christmas.
The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ZCIT) continues to operate, causing humidity from the coast of Maranhão to Ceará. In the interior of Pernambuco and in the cities located north of Bahia there should be no rain.
Rain may come in the form of storms during the afternoon in areas of Amapá and on the coast of Pará. Despite this, the sun appears throughout the day in the northern regions of the country. Saturday may dawn with clouds and light rain in Manaus, in the north of Tocantins, and in the cities in the south of Roraima.
Acre and the state of Roraima may experience heavy rain with a risk of thunderstorms.
