The Soyuzmultfilm studio expressed a desire to create computer games with the characters of famous animated series in the form of NFT tokens. It is planned to use the Polygon blockchain platform as a basis. This was reported by the TASS news agency, citing a statement from the commercial director of the studio, Vladimir Chibisov.
Speaking at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), Vladimir Chibisov noted that young people are now showing great interest in computer games, so they have plans to introduce Soyuzmultfilm characters into the gaming space in the form of NFTs. They will have certain characteristics that can be improved.
It is reported that Soyuzmultfilm, the Polygon blockchain platform and OD Business Technologies Group (ODBT) have signed an agreement at the WEF to develop and support NFT projects of the film studio. The cooperation provides for the creation of a joint venture Polygon / Cere, as well as the allocation of more than $ 4 million for various NFT projects of Soyuzmultfilm.
