The main Wall Street indices have started in a mixed way on Thursday amid various behaviors of the main sectors. At the time of writing, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 0.5% on the day at 29,252, the S&P 500 Index is down 0.3% at 3,561, and the Nasdaq Composite is up 0.6% at 11,960.
Among the top 11 sectors of the S&P 500, the energy sector index falls by almost 2%. Meanwhile, the Fall in US Treasury Yields Weighs on Financial Sector Index, which loses 1.8% on the day.

Hours earlier, the US Department of Labor reported that initial jobless claims fell by 48,000 to 709,000 last week, but this upbeat figure failed to boost risk appetite sentiment.
