The event is responsible for bringing together the best-ranked associations, as well as their biggest winners, from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, for their final prestige at the Sambadrome.

As reported by the Independent League of Samba Schools (Liesa), tickets to watch the schools' last parade are already sold out, but it is possible to watch broadcasts free and live of the parade.

It is worth mentioning that traditionally, in the Parade of Champions, the associations parade in reverse order to the final classification from fifth place (or last place) to champion.

How to watch the São Paulo Champions parade

TV Cultura will be responsible for broadcasting the São Paulo parades, which will broadcast all the details live from 11pm. The top five from the Special Group will parade at the Anhembi sambadrome, including champion Mocidade Alegre.

In addition to the five, the first two placed in Access Group 1 (Terceiro Milênio and Colorado) and Access Group 2 (X-9 Paulistana and São Lucas) also return on Saturday.

How to watch the Parade of Champions in Rio de Janeiro

Champion Viradouro and five other samba schools will parade again in Marquês de Sapucaí.

The Rio Champions Parade will be broadcast live on Multishow and in Globoplay – available for non-subscribers – starting at 9:30 pm, when “Apoteose do Samba – 40 years” begins, a show that will feature big names that marked the history of the avenue, such as Zeca Pagodinho, Alcione and Neguinho da Beija-Flor, as well as Anita.

Next, Vila Isabel, Portela, Salgueiro, Grande Rio, Imperatriz and the big winner of Carnival, Viradouro, end the night by parading their pavilions in the Marquês de Sapucaí sambadrome. Milton Cunha, Alex Escobar and Karine Alves lead the broadcast alongside commentators Leonardo Bruno and Lucinha Nobre
