The São Paulo government reported having sent copies of the three body camera contracts currently in force by the Military Police (PM) to the STF.
In addition to the contract signed with Motorola Solutions, in September, the two contracts with Axon Advanta were forwarded, which were extended and are in force until January and March 2025.
According to the government, tests to validate the functionalities of the new body cameras are scheduled for Tuesday (10), including remote activation, regardless of the wishes of the police officer in the event, in intentional and automatic modes.
Distribution
The letter from the Security Secretariat presents the contract execution stages, classifying them as completed and in progress.
Among the actions carried out is the completion, in November, of the adjustments to the data center that will store the captured files.
Once all contractual requirements have been met, the execution of the contract will begin in phases, with new cameras being distributed gradually every 90 days. The first four phases will cover the police units that are currently served by contracts with Axon Advanta.
