Delegate José Brandini Júnior was removed from his position at the São Paulo Civil Police for suspected fraud in public contracts this Friday (20).
The corporation’s Internal Affairs Department complied search and seizure warrants against the police officer this Friday, who is being investigated for fraud.
José Brandini Júnior is head of the Information Technology Division of the Civil Police Intelligence Department (Dipol).
During the operation, agents found approximately R$400 thousand in cash at one of the addresses linked to the delegate. The agent was removed after the Court accepted the Internal Affairs Department’s request.
Compliance with court orders is part of an investigation initiated by the Civil Police to combat misconduct and illicit practices.
Delegates removed
The delegates Fabio Pinheiro Lopes delegate and director of the State Department of Criminal Investigations (Deic) and the delegate Murilo Fonseca Roque then head of the 24th (Ponte Rasa) were removed from the Civil Police this Friday (20).

Eduardo is one of those investigated for involvement First Capital Command (PCC). He and four other police officers allegedly negotiated bribes worth around R$30 million with members of the faction.
