SP court determines hospitalization of teenager who planned to attack school

The Court of Justice of São Paulo (TJ-SP) determined, on Monday (5), the hospitalization of a 13-year-old teenager who was planning an attack on the school she studied, in Airuflama (SP).

In May, police officers found a revolver and a shotgun with ammunition, a black mask with a skull print and a notebook with illustrations and drawings related to the attack in the young woman’s room. Text messages and images with Nazi content were also found.

According to the police, the girl’s father was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm and racial discrimination at the police station, but released after posting bail.

The judge Tobias Guimaraes Ferreira in her sentence, she pointed out that the teenager “was effectively planning an attack on her school, motivated by discrimination, for which purpose she had taken possession of a firearm belonging to her father and planned to acquire a firearm from a third party”.

For him, the teenager “is already aware that the propagated ideals, of racial supremacy and intolerance, do not adhere to the ethics of post-war modernity” and concluded that the confinement measure is the most effective in the face of the serious threat to the students of the university. school and the “dangerous and contagious” effect of the ideas it adhered to.
