The state of São Paulo remains on alert for the heavy rains that have hit the state since last Thursday (21).
According to a bulletin released by the Civil Defense at 6pm this Saturday (23), rainfall was recorded in the last 12 hours in Praia Grande (56mm), São Sebastião (31mm), Caraguatatuba (28mm), Ilhabela (27mm), Guarulhos (23mm) , Guarujá (21mm), Ribeirão Pires, Suzano and Várzea Paulista (18mm), Mongaguá (18mm), Mauá and Santo André (17mm).
The children rescued, in São Vicente, in Baixada Santista, one victim of a roof collapse, and another, victim of a falling wall, remain in stabilization beds, showing good progress.
161 municipalities are under observation, 11 under attention. Five municipalities are on alert: São Sebastião, Campos do Jordão, Paraibuna, Mongaguá and Praia Grande.
For this Sunday (24), the day will be marked by a lot of cloudiness, which will not allow temperatures to rise as much, leaving a milder and even cold sensation, especially in the morning and evening.
Regarding rain, the weather will remain unstable, due to the cold front that is stopped between Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo.
Defense recommends paying attention to more vulnerable areas, such as slopes, due to the soil being wet.
