The way is opened for the issuance of the invitation of Agricultural Advice, amounted with the Publication of the Register of Agricultural Advisory Providers (FPGS), by ELGO – Dimitra. The invitation is expected to be issued within January and is activated for the first time on the initiative of the Minister of Rural Development and Food, Mr. Spilios Libanos.
In parallel with the Publication of the Register of Agricultural Advisory Providers, the way is essentially opened for the implementation of the AKIS System, which is foreseen as a prerequisite by the new CAP. The AKIS system links research, innovation, training and education and the Agricultural Advisory system.
According to the data of ELGO- Dimitra:
A. A total of 98 legal entities and 14 sole proprietorships have been certified and are registered in the Register of Agricultural Advisory Providers (FPGS) of ELGO-DIMITRA, after the completion of the evaluation process of the 2nd round of applications submitted by 10.11.2021, in the context of no. 17193 / 30.03.2021 call for expressions of interest.
These F.P.G.S. met at the time of submission of the requirements of no. 163/13692 / 01.02.2018 (267 B ‘) of the decision of the Minister of Rural Development and Food, as amended and in force.
The certification is of indefinite duration in compliance with the obligations arising from the aforementioned decision.
On the website of ELGO-DIMITRA www.elgo.gr is posted the final Table that includes data from the Register for the 112 certified companies.
The geographical distribution of the certified VATs, by Region, based on their seat, is shown in the following Table 1.
It is clarified that, the certified VATs. they may also have secondary installation (s), which are recorded in the Register.
From the data of the Information System www.agroadvisors.elgo.gr it appears that 466 certified and registered in the Register of ELGO-DIMITRA Agricultural Advisers, of various specialties, the majority of which are Agriculturalists PE and Agricultural Technologists are employed2 employed IFRS, as shown in Table 2.
It is pointed out that those registered in the VAT Register. must inform ELGO-DIMITRA of any change in their details, within thirty (30) days from the start of the change. In case of change of the certification conditions of VAT. due to the departure of a certified General Assembly, the F.P.G.S. must inform about the change and proceed within the above period of time to replace it with another certified G.S. from the Register, in order to maintain the conditions of its certification. The modification requests and the relevant documentation documents are submitted through the Information System in the field entitled “REQUIREMENTS FOR AMENDMENT AFTER CERTIFICATION”.
The Register will be updated at regular intervals if changes occur in its data.
B. Within January 2022, the evaluation of the applications of the interested natural persons in the framework of no. 39637 / 26.07.2021 2nd call for expressions of interest for their certification as Agricultural Advisors (GS) and their registration in the Register of ELGO-DIMITRA. This will be followed by the implementation of the introductory training program. Those interested will be informed about the exact date and details of the implementation of the program by e-mail as well as a relevant Press Release of the Organization.
