SP police arrest suspect of killing and tying elderly man to a carpet

A man was arrested on suspicion of participating in the robbery of businessman Carlos Alberto Felice, 77, in the West Zone of São Paulo. The arrest took place on Wednesday afternoon (24).

According to the Public Security Department, after the arrest, the man was taken to the 1st Police Station for Investigations into Robberies and Robberies of the Division for Investigations into Crimes against Property and his temporary arrest was requested by the Court.

The Civil Police also identified a second suspect of involvement in the businessman’s death, who has not yet been located.

Remember the case

On the night of last Tuesday (16), in a house located in the Jardim Europa neighborhood, west of São Paulo, a noble region of the city, Carlos Alberto Felice was found dead.

Carlos’ body was found in the garage of the residence where he lived and was covered by a rug. He was tied at the feet and hands with an electric shock, and showed signs of aggression on his head.

According to information confirmed by the Police, the elderly man, who lived alone and had no children, was in debt and had sold the residence, with around R$3.5 million inside the property.
