SP police investigate involvement of two other students in school attack

The São Paulo Civil Police are investigating the involvement of two other students from the state school Thomazia Montoro, in the west zone of São Paulo, in the attack last Monday (27) that left a teacher dead and four other people injured.

In the new security camera images obtained by the police, according to the chief delegate of the 34th Police District Marcus Vinícius Reis, the apprehended minor and another boy talk for a while and then go into the school bathroom together.

First, the other student leaves the premises and then the attacker leaves alone to commit the crime. The student seen in the images was identified and heard this Wednesday (29). According to the delegate, he denies any involvement in the crime.

The police are also working on the hypothesis that a third young person is the author of posts encouraging violent acts. This student studied in the same room as the author of the crime and he has also been heard. The investigation is still ongoing and no hypothesis is ruled out, according to the delegate.

At least two testimonies are scheduled for this Thursday (30th): teacher Ana Célia, who was injured in the attack, and the director of another school where the attacker studied.

Reconstitution

According to the Civil Police, the reconstruction of the crime is already being done through images and chronology of the facts. The simulation of the attack should only be carried out if the need for it is verified during the investigation.
