SP should continue with rainy days throughout the week; see forecast

The city of São Paulo had a rainy and cold day this Monday (26). For this Tuesday (27), the forecast is for more rain and low temperatures, due to the arrival of a new cold front, which also dropped temperatures in other regions of the state. The forecast for the dawn is a minimum of 15ºC, according to information from the Center for Management of Climatic Emergencies (CGE-SP).

The day should be rainy mainly in the West, South, coast and in Greater São Paulo – which should have minimum temperatures between 15ºC and 20ºC – in a persistent and strong way. Inland, the forecast is for stifling and less cold compared to other regions. The coldest day in São Paulo should be Wednesday (28), also rainy, with cloud cover and a maximum of 18ºC. Starting in October, the weather should improve and become more stable.

Rain is expected to continue throughout the week. Throughout the rest of September, the amount of water can exceed 100 mm in parts of the state and reach 150 mm in some regions. In Greater São Paulo, there was a record of flooding this Monday. The weather should present instability at least until next Friday (30), according to Climatempo and the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet).

At the beginning of Monday, the temperature in the capital did not rise due to the high cloudiness, with an average of 18ºC, falling in the following hours, and humidity exceeding 80%. Few places in the state had an increase, with the north being one of them: maximums passing 26ºC and 27ºC.
