Elon Musk’s official SpaceX page has information about the successful launch of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle with Starlink satellites.
The launch was made from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 11:24 am Moscow time. The rocket was supposed to put 60 satellites into orbit, which it did later.
The company has confirmed that all satellites have been successfully delivered into orbit, with the first stage returning to the floating platform Of Course I Still Love You.
This launch of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle with Starlink satellites has been postponed several times. In late February, SpaceX canceled the rocket launch a minute and 24 seconds before launch. On March 1 and 2, the launch was postponed due to bad weather conditions. Finally, the launch went smoothly today.
On February 16, SpaceX also launched a Falcon 9 booster with 60 Starlink microsatellites, but then the first stage did not return to Of Course I Still Love You.
Yesterday, a test flight of the next prototype of the Starship spacecraft was performed, which rose to an altitude of 10 km, successfully landed and exploded.
