THE SpaceX carried out 100 successful launches in 2024, according to the company. The hundredth mission of the year took off in Florida on October 15th, with a Falcon 9 rocket carrying 23 of Starlink’s internet satellites.
The same day later, the 101st launch left the west coast of the United States heading into space. More than 20 Starlinks have flown from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

Falcon 9 rockets have performed 96 of SpaceX’s 101 launches in 2024 so far. Two-thirds of Falcon 9 flights were dedicated to building the satellite mega-constellation.
The feat surpasses the company’s result in 2023. Last year, 98 successful launches were carried out.
