Spain: industrial production grows 1.7% annually in May, its greatest increase so far this year

The Spanish industrial production grew at a rate of 1.7% year -on -year in Mayexceeding the 0.6% increase seen in April, as published by the National Statistics Institute (INE). This is the greatest growth seen by the indicator so far this year.

At a monthly level, production increased 0.6% in May after 0.7% fall the previous month.

The euro has barely varied after the publication, placing at the time of writing about 1,1778 against the dollar, winning 0.18% in the day.
