Spain: retail sales grow 3.6% annual in February

The National Institute of Statistics (INE) of Spain has published the data of February retail sales, showing an interannual increase of 3.6%. The January data has been reviewed up to 2.3% from 2.2% published a month ago.

At a monthly level, retail sales grew 1.3% after having fallen 1.2% the previous month. According to the statement, all distribution modes presented positive monthly rates, except large surfaces (-0.3%). Small chains presented the greatest increase (1.7%).
