The revelations of the book written by Prince Harry, Spare, continue to reserve surprises. And the world of beauty is not left out either. One of her latest concerns the personal tastes of the late mother Lady Diana and her father, the current King Charles III, in terms of perfume.
Princess Diana, according to Harry’s memoir, Shoothad a favorite perfume: First by Van Cleef & Arpels. Her fragrance, with its notes of hyacinth, rose, jasmine, amber and sandalwood, was closely associated with her mother. A perfume that the prince, years later, smelling during a therapy session, brought back memories of his mother. «I read somewhere that smell is the most ancient of our senses, and this squared with what I felt at that moment, with the images that were born from what seemed to be the most primitive part of my brain».

Or perhaps it was because it was hard for him to smell anything other than his perfume: Eau Sauvage by Dior. She applied it to her cheeks, neck and shirt. Flowery, with a hint of something tart, like pepper or gunpowder. He came from Paris. Or at least that’s what it said on the label. And that made me think of Mom».
