The spin-off of the classic Disney series “Wizards of Waverly Place” got a new release date this Friday (29). Launched in 2007, the original production brought protagonism to the actors Selena Gomez and David Henrie which are confirmed in the new plot.
Initially, production would be available from November 4th . Now, the first seven episodes will be released on December 20th .
Entitled “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” (“Wizards Beyond Waverly Place “, in free translation), the spin-off brings back Selena Gomez in the role of Alex Russo and David Henrie as Justin Russo 12 years after the end of the original series.
The new cast includes the young sorceress Billie (Janice LeAnn Brown), her friend Winter (Taylor Cora), and Roman (Alkaio Thiele), Justin’s son with his wife Giada (Mimi Gianopulos).
“Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” premieres on Disney Channel and the Disney+ streaming service.
