In late spring or early summer, Xiaomi will unveil a new version of its iconic fitness bracelet. Despite the fact that about half a year remains before the release of Mi Band 6, important details about the device have already appeared on the Web.

The new data came from examining the Zepp app code (formerly Amazfit). Judging by it, the Mi Band 6 will have two versions: XMSH16HM and XMSH16HM. The first is equipped with NFC, the second is not. The device will also have a pulse oximeter (SpO2) and an Alexa voice assistant. There is also an indication of the GPS receiver, but so far its presence cannot be confirmed. But the screen will definitely be larger than that used in the Mi Band 5, since the screensavers (three of them are presented below) have a higher resolution.

The software part of the Mi Band 6 will expand greatly. First, the Pomodoro Tracker app will appear, allowing you to view advanced sleep statistics right on the fitness tracker itself. And instead of 11 modes of activity, there will already be 30, including new ones – dancing, zumba, cricket, basketball and kickboxing. Nothing is said about the price of Xiaomi Mi Band 6, but the device is unlikely to be significantly more expensive than the current model at the start of sales.
