Streaming service Spotify has launched a new Spotify Plus subscription in pilot mode, writes The Verge. It does not turn off ads, but gives the user complete freedom in choosing music. In particular, it allows you to listen to anything and removes the limitation on the number of skips (in the free version, you can skip 6 tracks per hour). At the moment, the subscription is available only to a limited number of US users. The new plan is attractive for its cost – at the time of this writing, it is $ 0.99 (~ 72 rubles) per month – this is ten times cheaper than the Premium subscription, for which they ask for $ 9.99.

However, representatives of the service warned that in the future, the terms of the subscription may change. Spotify also said the cost may vary among testers. According to them, this is necessary to assess the interest of the audience in its acquisition.
