«He becomes a paternal figure for her even if she is the mother of a child herself. That baby represents something to protect and keep tight, so it gives him the strength to continue and find himself. I wanted to have more scenes together because there is great harmony among the characters, but for the story it was important that the player 456 touched the bottom.
It moves me that this man does everything to return to the game, to save as many people as possible and that you try to end the games. But none of his plans are successful, he feels defeated and defenseless and that feeling of frustration but I have led it for a long time. It was a challenge. If I look back I see how a metaphor is of what man tries to reach in life, but also of the many failures, despite the willpower and the various attempts. On a personal level, however, the biggest challenge was the narrow diet: for a year I lived in read vegetables. And I promised myself that it will never happen again ».
