Tether Company announced on the launch of the USDT stablecoin on the Polygon second-tier network.
According to Alchemyas of April 2022, over 19,000 decentralized applications are running on Polygon, six times more than in October.
“The Polygon ecosystem has experienced historic growth this year, and we believe Tether will be essential to its continued prosperity,” said Tether CTO Paolo Ardoino.
In addition to Polygon, USDT is available on Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, Algorand, Tron, Omni, EOS, Liquid Network, Kusama, and the Standard Ledger protocol from Bitcoin Cash.

On May 26, Tether launched the MXNT “stablecoin” pegged to the Mexican peso. Even then, the company announced that the asset is available on the Ethereum, Tron, and Polygon networks.
