Standard Chartered determined the price of BTC at the end of the year

According to Standard Chartered, an employee of Bank, bitcoin growth potential (BTC) in 2025 is still 125%.

In the note for investors for April 22, the head of the bank’s digital assets research department, Jeff Kendrick, set the target price of Bitcoin at $ 200,000 by the end of 2025. This will be facilitated by strengthening his position as an asset for hedging financial risks in private and public sectors.

Kendrick emphasized the stability of the first cryptocurrency during financial instability, paying tribute to its decentralized blockchain.

Bitcoin was consolidated during the period when the shares experienced great volatility, since the trade stress between the United States and China exerted great pressure on world financial systems.

The manager’s serious concern is the potential replacement of the Fed’s chairman Jerome Powell, which can further undermine the confidence in the autonomy of the Central Bank.

Due to these fears, the US 10-year-old treasury bonds reached a 12-year maximum, which is very similar to BTC growth in early 2024.

Despite the fact that Bitcoin was lagging behind the growing urgent bonus, partly due to pressure on the shares of technological companies, Kendrick expects that he will surpass the previous maximums.

Kendrick’s long -term forecast is even more optimistic – it predicts the Bitcoin price of $ 500,000 by the end of 2028.
