Space Exploration Technologies Corporation’s (SpaceX) Starlink Internet satellite constellation suffered a global outage, which was recorded on Saturday.
Starlink uses internet satellites in low earth orbit to provide internet coverage to its users. The service managed to expand its presence to countries outside the United States in a short period of time.
On April 9, messages began to arrive from Starlink users who informed that the service had stopped working for them. According to reports, the failure resulted in the Starlink terminals freezing and unable to connect to orbiting satellites. In addition, SpaceX seemed to be aware of the issues, with users confirming that a message appeared on the Starlink app saying the issue would be resolved as soon as possible.

The list of countries where disruptions were observed included the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium and Portugal. In addition, the failure also affected several US states, including Colorado and Washington.
The failure was short-lived. Some users confirmed that this lasted for about 30 minutes. In this case, someone had to reboot the equipment.
Thanks to regular launches of Falcon 9 rockets, Starlink quickly managed to put almost two thousand satellites into orbit and cover most of the planet with the Internet.
