The founder of SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk, said that they are trying to hack and jam the Starlink satellite Internet system in Ukraine, but the hackers are not succeeding.
“Starlink, at least so far, has successfully resisted all hacking and jamming attempts,” Elon Musk said today on his Twitter page.
In early March, Elon Musk published a warning about the dangers of using the Starlink satellite Internet system in Ukraine: “Starlink is the only non-Russian communication system that is still operating in some parts of Ukraine, so it is highly likely that it will become a target. Please use Starlink with care.” He added that Starlink is best used only when there is a strong need and to place the antenna as far away from people as possible.
In addition, Elon Musk said that SpaceX and Starlink have been refocused on cyber defense and overcoming signal interference.
