The film “Unstoppable” starring Jennifer Lopez 55, and produced by Ben Affleck 52, arrived on Prime Video this Thursday (16). The two had been married since 2022 and separated in August 2024.
In the film directed by William Goldenberg (“Argo” and “The Informant”), the New York singer plays Judy Robles, mother of fighter Anthony Robles, who was born with only one leg, but overcame adversity to become a champion. Robles was a Greco-Roman wrestler and became United States national champion in 2011.
“It’s about understanding who you are and recognizing your strengths. It’s about holding on to those things. It’s not about focusing on your weaknesses, the times you fell or the times you didn’t win. Instead, I focus on: ‘I won that time. And you know what? I can win again. I’m working, I’m strong and I can overcome’”, reflected J-Lo about the film in an interview with OK! magazine.
In addition to Jennifer Lopez, the cast also includes Jharrel Jerome (“Moonlight” and “Spider-Man Through the Spider-Verse”), Michael Peña (“American Hustle” and “Crash”), Don Cheadle (“Crash” and “The Guard” ), Bobby Cannavale (“Ant-Man” and “The Station Agent”), Mykelti Williamson (“Forest Gump” and “The Edge of Us”), Shawn Hatosy (“Animal Kingdom”) and Noen Perez (“Natty Knocks”).
