Start up receives investment of R$ 10 million and launches functional and vegan fast food

Functional fast food is the new bet of BLOOM , a new snack bar that recently opened at the JK Iguatemi mall. That’s right, it seems that now you can eat hamburgers, fries, ice cream, milk shakes and even soda without much guilt.

The house, the idea of partners Ricardo Armando de Angelis, Amanda Albaricci de Angelis and Fábio Munno, promises to deliver functional foods with the same sensations of pleasure as junk food flavors.

The face of the recipes is identical to those found in the big chains, but the difference is that everything is vegan – zero animal origin – and with nutrients and supplements that seek to provide physical and mental well-being.

According to the partners, there is also great environmental commitment: the operation of the cafeteria works 100% electrically, while the packaging is all made of paper or biodegradable, made from plants, which decompose quickly in case of incorrect disposal by the consumers and the waste chain itself.

Within three months of the first contact with the public, BLOOM has already achieved certification as the first “carbon neutral fast food in the country”.

The second step of the startup will be the development of strategic product categories aimed at supermarkets, pharmacies and convenience stores together with Nutramérica, the holding company that owns the Atlhetica Nutrition group and with whom BLOOM raised the first Venture Capital of R$10 million.
