The Czech company Skoda has announced the start of mass production of the new Enyaq Coupe iV electric car at the main plant in Mladá Boleslav.

The Enyaq Coupe iV is built on the same Volkswagen MEB modular electric platform as the Enyaq iV urban crossover. Both versions of the Enyaq iV are the only models based on Volkswagen’s modular electric platform produced in Europe outside of Germany.
According to the plans of the company, 120 copies of the electric coupe-crossover will be assembled daily at the plant. In the future, the daily production of Enyaq Coupe iV will exceed 120 units.
The car received a sporty design and a roomy trunk with a volume of 570 liters. The basic equipment of the electric crossover includes a panoramic top – the glass section covers almost the entire surface of the roof. Among the main characteristics are electric motors with power from 132 kW to 220 kW (depending on configuration), a cruising range of 545 km in the WLTP cycle, rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
