From November 1st to November 30th, more than 600 houses distributed in 11 states of Brazil – São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, Goiás, Federal District, Bahia and Ceará, celebrate the 16th edition of Burger feast, O biggest burger festival in the country, which has already reached the mark of more than 1.5 million hamburgers consumed, generating a value of R$ 150 million in sales.
Restaurants, bars and hamburgers simultaneously promote the burger culture in face-to-face format, delivery and take out. “Created to foster business, inspiration and new experiences for the public, the festival values ingredients premium and at this time, it aims to help the segment in the recovery of economic activity”, says Claudio Baran, creator of the festival, who adds: “After nine years, Burger Fest remains the main supporter of the current scenario of houses that serve hamburgers at their best time; in this edition we have an even greater purpose: to support the recovery”.
With the purpose of inspiring new recipes, innovations and trends, the houses selected by the Burger Fest curatorship included in their menus an unprecedented creation for the period of the festival. Only in São Paulo there are 260 participating addresses, followed by Rio de Janeiro with 74, Minas Gerais with 78, Espírito Santo with 23, Santa Catarina with 28, Rio Grande do Sul with 26, Paraná with 46, Goiás with 45, Distrito Federal with 51, Bahia with 23 and Ceará with 13.
In the state of São Paulo, distinguished and recognized houses such as Z Deli Sandwiches, Hamburgueria Tradi, Meats, 12 Burger & Beer, Horn Burgers, Frank & Charles, Snack Bar, Matilda Lanches, Guarita Burger, Holy Burger, Vinil Burger , C6 Burger and In the Garage. Renowned restaurants also created special burgers for the festival, such as Clos Winebar and Bistro, Pobre Juan, Forneria San Paolo, Le Chef Boucher, Soul Kitchen, Jacaranda, Porterhouse and Condimento Café and Bistro.
