STA.SY. is proceeding with the further strengthening of the transport project of Line 1 of the Metro “Piraeus – Kifissia”, with the launch of another train, coming from Lines 2 & 3.
A total of 3 first generation trains of Lines 2 & 3 move daily from 7 in the morning until 7 in the afternoon, rush hour, on Line 1 in addition to the existing fleet.
Already, since last November, when the first train was launched in the network Piraeus – Kifissia, until yesterday the addition of the third train in a row, their contribution to the smooth conduct of the transport project and the observance of time distances is crucial.
In the direct plans of STA.SY. The addition of another first generation train of lines 2 and 3 to the fleet of Line 1 is included, while the Tender process of the Project for the upgrade of 14 trains of the Line is in progress.
