State of São Paulo imposes a fine on the person who jumped the Covid vaccine queue

The Department of Justice and Citizenship of the State of São Paulo convicted a person who jumped the queue and took an improper dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

The accused will have to pay a fine of 27,174.50 reais. The violator may still appeal the decision. In this case, the evaluation of the appeal will be up to the secretary Fernando José da Costa.

The extract of the decision is in this Saturday’s (8) edition of the Official State Gazette.

It is worth remembering that the Special Commission on Vaccination was established on June 3, 2021, based on Decree No. 65,725/2021.

Punishments are intended for any individual who has failed to comply with the priority group vaccination order against Covid.

So far, the department has received 128 complaints, 24 of which have been revaccination cases, and 33 procedures have been filed. Complaints can be made by any citizen on the website www.justica.sp.gov.br.
