On Thursday (13) the Ministry of Health received the first batch of vaccines from Pfizer that will cover children aged five to 11 years.
The doses were passed on to cities and some municipalities already have a vaccination calendar against Covid-19 or have already started vaccination.
The survey carried out by CNN Agency points out that at least 25 states and the Federal District confirmed receipt of vaccines until Friday night (14).
The only state that had not confirmed receipt of immunizations was Acre. The local Health Department stated that pediatric vaccines should have arrived by 9:50 pm. In the early hours of Saturday (15), the Ministry of Health reported that it delivered the doses to the state, thus completing the deliveries of this first batch.
The distribution began in the early hours of this Friday (14). Bahia, Piauí, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Acre and Goiás reported delays in the delivery of doses.
In a note, the Ministry of Health said that it anticipated the shipment of pediatric vaccines to the states and all doses will be delivered in less than 48 hours after arrival at the Distribution Center.
The folder explains that this process normally lasts from five to nine days, and that specific changes in the logistics of flights will not affect the beginning of pediatric vaccination.

Minas Gerais
The capital of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, will start vaccinating children this Saturday (15). Immunization will be done exclusively in Health Centers, from 8 am to 2 pm. With priority for children with comorbidities and immunosuppressed.
Pernambuco
Pernambuco received, on the morning of this Friday (14), the first shipment of doses for vaccination of children aged 5 to 11 years. The 60 thousand doses of Pfizer went to the State Immunization Program for conference and subsequent referral to the municipalities, which should take place this Saturday, according to information from the state governor, Paulo Câmara.
Mato Grosso do Sul
The state capital, Campo Grande, starts vaccinating children from 5 to 11 years old this Saturday (15), after receiving 4,310 doses of Pfizer’s immunizer.
Bahia
The mayor of Salvador, Bruno Reis (DEM), announced on social media that the immunization of the public from 5 to 11 years of age with disabilities or comorbidities begins this Saturday (15). All must be listed on the Municipal Health Department website.
Ceará
