Stellantis to showcase compact city electric car and future technologies at CES 2022

Very soon, from January 5 to 8, 2022, Las Vegas will host the International Consumer Electronics Show CES 2022, where the world’s largest companies will show their cutting-edge developments in a wide variety of areas. The multinational automobile corporation Stellantis, which includes 14 well-known world brands, will also take part in it, demonstrating its advanced technologies in the field of electrification, vehicle connectivity, and autopilot driving. However, there is no need to fly to the USA to look at the giant’s new products – Stellantis representatives have already announced some of the exhibits.

Chrysler Airflow

The legendary American car brand Chrysler makes a special bet on the Airflow model, which enjoyed unprecedented popularity in the 30s of the last century. The company returned to this name for a reason – with the new Airflow, the manufacturer plans to begin a full transition to electric cars, taking as a basis a rather interesting body design in white with black accents. The company will probably talk about the technical characteristics of the electric crossover at the exhibition, but it is worth recalling that so far this is only a concept, not a production car.

Citroen Skate

The French company at the end of September this year presented the world with an autopilot robotic platform powered by electricity, which allows you to install various modules for the layout of all kinds of vehicles. And at CES 2022, the manufacturer will show exactly which modules can be used on this platform – we are talking about vehicles for the provision of joint mobility services within the city. For example, about a taxi with an autopilot.

Citroen Ami

Quite an interesting compact city electric car for two seats, which can be driven in France (the home country of the manufacturer) from the age of 14. The company also promises to implement the full process of buying a car over the Internet without having to visit a salon for paperwork, an innovative way of distributing a compact electric car and a full charge of the battery in three hours.

DS E-Tense FE21

An incredibly light racing car, which has already won two victories in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship – the weight of the vehicle, including the pilot, is only 900 kg, which, with the presence of electric motors with a total capacity of 338 horsepower, allows the car to accelerate from zero to one hundred in 2, 8 seconds. A striking example of the fact that racing electric cars are no longer a myth, but a reality.

FIAT New 500

The company’s flagship electric car is a true standard of comfort, environmental friendliness and manufacturability. The vehicle provides a potential owner with a range on a single charge of 320 km, support for fast charging technology and a second level autopilot system – this is the first city car with its support. And best of all, the New 500 is FIAT’s best-selling electric car at the moment.

Grand Wagoneer

A real revival of the American legend – the SUV amazes with both its premium interior elements and off-road characteristics, a rather soft ride, stylish body design and many high-tech solutions. For example, the SUV supports the Fire TV service, while the front row passengers have their own display on the dashboard.

Jeep Wrangler 4xe

The manufacturer calls this SUV the most passable, technically advanced and environmentally friendly in the entire line of Wrangler vehicles. The novelty boasts a hybrid drive that allows the driver to cover up to 33 km without noise, harmful emissions and the need to refuel the SUV with something other than electricity. The Wrangler is already on sale in Europe, China and the United States, demonstrating increased demand among off-road and high-tech fans.

Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe

This is the first car in the Grand Cherokee range to be equipped with a hybrid powertrain. The battery on board allows you to travel 40 kilometers on electricity, and the total power of the SUV reaches 375 horsepower. This is a big step for the manufacturer to include a fully electric vehicle in every Jeep model range by 2025.
