In the plot, Izzy Jaynes is an experienced researcher who, still dealing with past traumas, receives a letter containing a serious threat: soon innocent people will be murdered. Seeking to unravel the case and find out who is behind it, she uses detective and friend Holly Gibney. However, the threat becomes real: a woman is randomly killed in a park, and they need to unite so that the killer does not perform other people.
