STF judges on the 26th the actions on ordinance against proof of vaccination

The Federal Supreme Court scheduled for November 26 the judgment of the actions that question the ordinance of the Ministry of Labor that prevented companies from demanding proof of vaccination against Covid-19 from their employees.

The judgment will be made by the virtual plenary of the Court (a mode of judgment in which ministers register their votes in the STF system, without a session for individual reading of each one’s vote). Ministers will have until December 3rd to register their votes in the system.

The Sustainability Network, the PSB and the Partido Novo filed lawsuits at the STF challenging the ordinance issued by the Ministry of Labor.

Last Friday (12), Minister Luís Roberto Barroso, rapporteur of the actions, overturned, by means of an injunction (provisional), parts of the ordinance and decided that companies do have the right to demand evidence from employees. of vaccination against Covid-19.
