Stock market: The board is divided, G.D. is positive.

The Athens Stock Exchange is moving today with small fluctuations and mixed signs, which after the correction on Friday is trying to keep the levels, against the pressures of several stocks, but also having the support of significant index weights.

In particular, the General Index records gains of 0.22% at 917.02 points, while the turnover is at 12.7 million euros and the volume at 5.7 million units. The FTSE 25 also fell 0.35% to 2,198.30 points, while the banking index gained 0.86% to 611.91 points.

Jumbo, Attica Bank and … Covid

After Moody’s once again held a cautious stance, keeping the Greek economy three steps below the investment level, the focus of the meeting today is Jumbo shares, as they are trading without the right to the extraordinary dividend of 0.30 euros which corresponds to at a yield of just over 2%.

Also, the shares of Attica Bank are traded without the right to the capital increase with a ratio of 49.5265 new shares for each old one. The trading of the rights will start on November 25 and will end on December 3, while the adjusted starting price of the share is 0.2740 euros.

But in addition to the above, the fear of a new lockdown in Europe is worrying after the developments in Austria and Germany, with the tourism industry under more pressure. Also, the growing cases do not allow second thoughts in Greece, given that a fifth wave of pandemics is ahead, especially in the winter months, if additional measures are not taken in time.

However, according to information from Capital.gr, the government does not want us to have unpleasant announcements about the closure, as we approach the holidays, although there are voices that interpreting the surrounding atmosphere in Europe, do not rule out, if there is no decline in the indicators in the coming days, there will be similar announcements.

On the dashboard

On the board now, Biochalco and Lambda record gains of 1.71% and 1.09% respectively, with PPA, Sarantis, Motor Oil, Aegean, Alpha Bank, OTE and HELEX moving in positive territory. Hellenic Petroleum and ELHA are unchanged.

On the other hand, Jumbo loses 1.8%, with Eurobank, Terna Energy, Ethniki, Piraeus, Titan, OPAP, Ellactor, PPC, IPTO, GEK Terna, EYDAP, Mytilineos and Coca Cola in negative territory.
