Violent incidents broke out for another night in Belgrade, when anti -government protesters clashed with supporters of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), followed by police forces. Anti -government demonstrations often shock Serbia after the collapse of a railway station, which claimed the lives of 16 people on November 1, 2024 in Novi Sad, incident that was primarily attributed to endemic corruption. The situation escalated this week, when supporters of the ruling party – some of whom were hoodlums – attacked the protesters. The two sides are accused of escalating. On Thursday, protesters launched an attack on SNS offices in the city of Novi Sad in Northern Serbia.
