The number of killed by the tornadoes in the United States rose to at least 33 in six states on Saturday night (15).
Six deaths were reported at Mississippi, one in Covington County, two people in Jefferson Davis County and three people in Walthall County, the state governor said Tate Reeves.
Reeves declared a state of emergency after the storms on Saturday night.
“Please pray for those who have lost their lives, those who are missing and those who lead search efforts, those who are healing and their families.”

In addition, three people are missing – two in Covington and one in Walthall, according to the governor. Another 28 were injured throughout the state.
According to preliminary evaluations, 21 condeds in the state suffered damage caused by the storm. Damage evaluations are underway.
More than 14,000 people were still out of power throughout the state until Saturday night, according to Poweroutage.us.
