A clear message to Russia sent today its secretary general NATOJens Stoltenberg, stressing that any use of nuclear weapons would change the nature of the conflict and that Russia must understand that it can never win a nuclear war.
He further added that NATO is not part of the conflict, “we are helping Ukraine to defend itself, we will not send troops to the country.”

“Russia must stop this dangerous, irresponsible nuclear rhetoric,” the NATO chief told a news conference. “But let there be no doubt about our readiness to protect and defend allies against any threat at any time,” he was quoted as saying by Reuters.
“Russia must understand that it can never win a nuclear war,” he said. Stoltenberg in view of the summit of the leaders of the Alliance states in Brussels.
