The possibility of banning the attendance of fans at the stadiums if they do not wear a mask was raised by the Minister of Citizen Protection Takis Theodorikakos, in statements this afternoon on t / s Mega.
Speaking on the issue, the minister noted that “most fans do not wear a mask” and warned that if this situation continues, the ban should be reconsidered.
He characteristically stated that in the case of the incidents in Toumba, in the PAOK-ARIS match, four of those arrested did not even have a vaccination certificate, without which they are not allowed to enter the stadium, for which PAOK will pay the fine, while he pointed out that from the television it seems that in no stadium do they wear masks.
The minister asked the fans to protect themselves and their teams and at the same time called on the teams to take care of the measure next weekend, emphasizing that the Police will conduct sampling checks.
“It is a pity that we can not go to the stadium to watch our favorite team and our favorite sport if this situation continues. Let everyone protect themselves and their team,” said Mr. Theodorikakos.
