Strike: transport and offices at risk

Having transportation at risk on Earth Day doesn’t sound like a good resolution for the environment, but it is. The Workers Association Cobas proclaimed the abstention from work of all public and private sectors, throughout the national territory and for the entire working day of Friday 22 April. The strike was also joined by the workers’ drivers federation, organized metalworkers, general class union, Slaiprolcobas, union of self-organized workers.

No problems for local public transport are indicated. School is at risk instead.

Trains, ships and planes

The strike for the sector of airplane transport it is from midnight to 11.59pm trains they are at risk from midnight to 9pm. There are no changes to the circulation of long-distance trains. Essential services are guaranteed for regional from 6 to 9 and from 18 to 21.

THE maritime transport they stop to and from the major islands for 24 hours, from 1 hour before departure, and for the smaller islands from one minute after midnight to 24h. Highways from 10pm on Thursday 21 April to 10pm on Friday

School

A strike is foreseen for all the teaching and Ata staff of public schools for the entire days of Friday and Saturday. The strike was proclaimed by the CSLE Confederation (Confederation of European Workers Unions) – School sector.
